What Does the Lifetime Ceramic Coating Include?

Opti-Coat Pro3. Industrial Diamond Ceramic. $5,000 Per Claim Manufacturer-Backed Warranty.

Bryan Car Care is an authorized Opti-Coat Pro3 installer for the Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene market. Opti-Coat Pro3 is the strongest ceramic protection in our menu, with permanent SiC chemistry and a manufacturer-backed warranty.

Opti-Coat Pro3 uses SiC (Silicon Carbide) chemistry that permanently bonds to your clear coat through chemical crosslinking. It becomes part of the paint structure, not a layer sitting on top. The result is a 4-layer, 10-12 micron film, roughly 4x the thickness of standard ceramic coatings. Pro3 is rated at 2,000 grams on the tungsten carbide needle scratch test and has been Boeing tested and rated.

The warranty is issued and backed directly by Opti-Coat LLC out of Memphis, TN. They have been in business since 2001. Every vehicle also receives a complete interior detail, full paint correction, wheels-off protection, glass coating (Opti-Glass Pro), trim coating (Opti-Trim Protect), wheel coating (Opti-Coat Pro), interior ceramic (Opti-Guard), CARFAX registration, and a digital inspection report.

Why Does Paint Correction Come Before Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath. Swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation trapped beneath a coating become permanent. Bryan Car Care performs full professional paint correction before any ceramic layer is applied.

Paint correction removes defects, restores clarity, and refines the gloss to the highest level the paint will allow. Bryan Car Care does not use preset “one-step” correction or time-limited processes. Correction continues until the paint meets our standard.

The quality of the SiC bond depends directly on surface preparation. No ceramic coating is applied until the surface is ready. The foundation determines how the finished result looks, feels, and performs for the life of the vehicle.

What's Included

Complete Interior Detail

Every surface inside the cabin is cleaned, conditioned, and protected. Interior surfaces receive Opti-Guard ceramic protection for long-term stain resistance and easy cleaning. The interior receives the same level of attention as the exterior, bringing the entire vehicle to a consistent standard of presentation.

Exterior Preparation and Refinement

The exterior goes through a full wash, chemical decontamination, and mechanical decontamination before paint correction begins. Surface preparation ensures the SiC ceramic bonds properly and performs at its full potential for the life of the coating.

4-Layer Opti-Coat Pro3 Ceramic System

The Opti-Coat Pro3 system uses a SiC (Silicon Carbide) basecoat with an SiO2 hybrid topcoat. Four layers are applied to achieve 10-12 micron film thickness, roughly 4x the thickness of standard ceramic coatings. Pro3 is rated at 2,000 grams on the tungsten carbide needle scratch test, nearly double the standard Opti-Coat Pro Plus. This coating has been Boeing tested and rated. Each layer is installed with proper cure time between applications to ensure maximum bond strength and long-term performance.

Wheels-Off Protection

Wheels are removed so both faces and barrels can be fully coated with Opti-Coat Pro. Brake calipers are cleaned and ceramic-coated to protect against brake dust buildup. Partial coverage is not part of Bryan Car Care's process.

Glass, Trim, and Plastics

All exterior glass receives Opti-Glass Pro for hydrophobic protection and improved visibility in rain and snow. Trim and plastics are sealed with Opti-Trim Protect to prevent fading, cracking, and UV degradation over the life of the protection plan.

Process and Timeline

The Lifetime Ceramic Coating requires a 72-hour in-shop stay. Quality control demands a controlled environment, proper SiC cure times, and thorough final inspection. This service is performed exclusively at Bryan Car Care's Post Falls facility.

  • 72-hour shop stay from drop-off to pick-up
  • Drop off in the morning at the scheduled appointment
  • Pick up exactly three days later, fully cured and fully protected

The controlled environment is critical for proper SiC bond formation. Rushing ceramic coating application compromises adhesion and longevity. Bryan Car Care allocates the time each vehicle actually needs.

Started with Paint Correction?

Half Off Your Prep, Within 30 Days

If you booked a Multi-Stage Correction or Single-Stage Enhancement in the last 30 days, 50 percent of what you paid for that service comes off the Lifetime Ceramic Coating. The correction work transfers directly to the coating prep, so you do not pay twice for the same labor.

Pricing and Next Steps

The Lifetime Ceramic Coating starts at $3,395. Final pricing depends on vehicle size and current paint condition, not on reduced correction or shortcuts.

Schedule a consultation to have your vehicle evaluated in person. Bryan Car Care will walk through the process, assess your paint, and provide an accurate estimate.

Considering Opti-Shield Instead?

The Lifetime Ceramic Coating and Opti-Shield Liquid PPF are parallel choices for different protection philosophies. Lifetime Ceramic Coating is the right answer for owners who want a permanent ceramic bond with the slick, hydrophobic finish ceramic chemistry provides. Opti-Shield is the right answer for owners who want the thickest sacrificial layer with no annual maintenance.

Both carry the same $5,000 per claim manufacturer-backed warranty from Opti-Coat LLC. We are happy to walk you through the comparison and help you choose based on how you actually use your vehicle.

Your Investment is Protected

The warranty on the Lifetime Ceramic Coating is issued and backed by Opti-Coat LLC, not just the shop. Your protection is registered in a national database and can be serviced by any authorized Opti-Coat installer in the US or Canada if you move or if the shop closes.

  • Lifetime Warranty with Annual Maintenance. The lifetime warranty term requires a $350 annual maintenance visit from any authorized Opti-Coat installer. Without annual maintenance, the warranty covers 10 years. Both are strong outcomes.
  • Nearly Double the Scratch Resistance. Opti-Coat Pro3 is rated at 2,000 grams on the tungsten carbide needle scratch test, compared to 1,100 grams for standard Opti-Coat Pro Plus. That upgrade in hardness is one of the key reasons Pro3 carries a lifetime warranty option.
  • $5,000 Coverage Limit Per Claim. The warranty covers environmental damage, etching, bird droppings, bug splatter, acid rain, industrial fallout, UV damage, and oxidation up to $5,000 per claim.
  • Vehicle Age Conditions. Vehicles 5 model years or newer receive the full lifetime or 10-year warranty. Vehicles 6-10 model years old receive 5-year coverage. Vehicles over 10 model years are not eligible.
  • Opti-Coat LLC National Database. Your vehicle is registered directly with Opti-Coat LLC. You will receive a confirmation email from the manufacturer. Any authorized installer nationwide can look up and service your warranty.
  • CARFAX Registration.Bryan Car Care registers every Protection Plan directly on CARFAX. No other detailer in the Coeur d'Alene or Spokane area documents ceramic coating work on CARFAX.
  • Digital Inspection Report. Every vehicle receives a comprehensive photo-documented report showing each stage of the process, from intake condition to final result.

Your $3,395 investment is backed by the manufacturer, registered nationally, and documented on CARFAX.

The Lifetime Ceramic Coating breaks down to roughly $0.93 per day over a 10-year period, and even less over a lifetime of ownership. That daily investment covers professional paint correction, a 4-layer SiC industrial diamond ceramic system, CARFAX registration, and a manufacturer-backed warranty from Opti-Coat LLC.

The Lifetime Ceramic Coating requires a 72-hour in-shop stay. Drop your vehicle off in the morning and pick up exactly three days later. The 72-hour timeline allows proper paint correction without rushing, controlled SiC ceramic layer application with full cure time between coats, and a thorough final inspection before delivery. The controlled environment is critical for proper SiC bond formation.

Yes. Every Lifetime Ceramic Coating install is registered on CARFAX and in Opti-Coat LLC's national database. When you sell your vehicle, the buyer can verify the professional installation through both records, adding documented value to any private sale or trade-in. The warranty itself stays with the original owner.

No mandatory maintenance is required for the 10-year warranty term. If you want lifetime coverage, Opti-Coat LLC requires a $350 annual maintenance visit from any authorized Opti-Coat installer in the US or Canada. Both outcomes are excellent. You get a minimum of 10 years of manufacturer-backed protection with no strings attached, and the option to extend that for life with a simple annual visit.

The Lifetime Ceramic Coating uses Opti-Coat Pro3, which is rated at 2,000 grams on the tungsten carbide needle scratch test (nearly double the 1,100 grams of the 7-Year Ceramic Coating's Opti-Coat Pro Plus). Pro3 is applied in 4 layers at 10-12 microns film thickness vs the 2 layers in the 7-Year. The warranty is 10 years standard with optional lifetime extension via annual maintenance, vs the 7-year flat term. Pro3 is the highest ceramic coating tier Opti-Coat LLC offers.

Drop-off, three days in our climate-controlled shop, pickup. Day one is decontamination and paint correction. Day two is the 4-layer Opti-Coat Pro3 SiC ceramic application with proper cure time between layers. Day three is wheels-off coating, glass coating, trim coating, interior ceramic, final inspection, CARFAX registration, and digital report. The 72-hour timeline is required for proper SiC bond formation and cannot be rushed.

Your warranty is registered in Opti-Coat's national database and backed directly by Opti-Coat LLC. Any authorized installer in the US and Canada can service the warranty. Your coverage does not depend on any single shop remaining in business.
